1. CHOCOHOLICKS

Chocolate has long been labelled a direct cause of acne, but the science doesn’t fully support this claim. However, there is a connection between acne and food. The food we eat has direct effect on our skin and chocolate is one of those foods that has a lot of acne causing elements in it. What goes into making chocolates are the sole purpose of acne. Butter, cocoa and sugar being the first of them.

2. DAIRY PRODUCTS

Cow’s milk contains many nutrients and growth hormones. These growth hormones can cause acne. Milk also increases the production of insulin in your body that can cause pimples on your skin. Milk and milk related products can increase the acne on your skin.

3. THE TOO SPICY

Shout out to all the spice lovers out there. Consumption of excess spicy food can cause harm to your digestive system. This leads to inflammation sensation in your digestive track and acne on the skin. This also increases the blood circulation to the face that gives redness to your face. Hence, individual with acne must take spicy food in moderate quantity and take proper care for the skin condition. It is recommended to control or cure the acne in its early stage. They can be cured by clearing pores or medications advised by the doctors.

4. THE TOO SWEET

Say no to SUGAR. Sweet- never failed your taste buds but always harmed your skin. Sugar consumed directly or indirectly is still very harmful to your skin. Candy is filled with sugar content that cause acne, wrinkles and unhealthy skin. They damage the collagen and elastin fibres, which is useful to maintain the firmness and youthful skin. This can also cause dry skin that produces premature wrinkles and skin sagging.

5. CHEESE FORMS

This is definitely the hardest to avoid, but it simply offers almost no benefits to us telling you this. It is high in carbs, topped with dairy, and devoid of nutrients. And we can’t seem to stop eating it. Pizza is — unsurprisingly — also one of the worst acne-causing foods for your skin. The cheese is problematic enough, but when you add in the gut-wrecking gluten, you are just waiting for a breakout to happen. Cheese in all forms is all yum in tum but has no benefits to your skin.

6. POTATO SHAPES

Love from potatoes come in all shapes and sizes. French fries, potato chips, wedges are all just forms of acne sources. The reasoning here is largely the same as our first two points: chips contain far too many carbs, produce a quick insulin spike, and lead to systemic inflammation. On top of that, the industrial seed oils used in making potato chips are very high in omega-6 fats, which is very bad news for your body.
