The Independence Day of India, which is celebrated religiously throughout the Country on the 15th of August every year, holds tremendous ground in the list of national days, since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of free living. India's gaining of independence was a tryst with destiny, as the struggle for freedom was a long and tiresome one, witnessing the sacrifices of many freedom fighters, who laid down their lives on the line. When our heroes fought for our independence, what is it worth if we don’t celebrate their hard work and sacrifice?
FREE A CAGED BIRD.
It’s been 72 years of our independence and we are able to breathe the air of freedom ever since. But there are so many birds out there that are still caged. It’s the fundamental right of birds to be able to fly. There is no such animal as a “cage bird.” All caged birds were either captured or bred in captivity. In the wild, these beautiful beings are never alone. We often use the term “free birds”! Ironically, those birds that are supposed to be free are caged. It’s been 72 years and we have birds that are caged by our own country people. This independence day, buy a caged bird and set it free. Let the birds taste the ski and breathe the air of freedom too. Make the bird a free bird.
EXPLORE THE NATURE
In a continued spirit of freedom, here’s your best chance to take a look at the nature’s very own paradise. It’s the right time of the year to pack your bags and go exploring with a get along weather in your favour. There are many adventure planners who look for travellers. All you need to do is find one and go on the run. Nature has so much to offer and what we do is just exploit every privilege. So this time, where ever you go, PLANT A TREE. That is literally the least we can all do. “Each one plant one”, make more room for the birds and other animals. Its only positive contribution this year. Its time we repay a little gratitude to mother nature by restoring her greenery.
RUN FOR A CAUSE
All the athletes out there, wake up! we have all the good ideas in mind but have less funds to implement them. So here’s your chance to either conduct or take part in a marathon- “run for a cause” and make it happen. Use the registration fees from the participants for a noble cause like saving and providing a new life to abandoned animals or even our fellow humans. With the spreading awareness, many people would want to sign up and register for the marathon. Have an incentive for the winners and the rest of which would be used to serve the main purpose
HELP THE NEEDY
Happiness doubles itself when shared. Spreading happiness around would not just make you happy but the other person too. Here’s a chance to spread happiness by helping the needy. No, you don’t always need money to be helpful to someone. Sometimes, even a hug could make someone happy. Go around and find someone who could need your help. Do this activity. Team up with a few people and make some food or buy some food. Go around and hand over a pack of that to all homeless people you come across. The smallest of things could make a difference. Needs can be of so many kinds. Even if you can’t help everyone, you can help a few and it will definitely brighten up their day.
You can also find animals that need help. Rescue them, get them tested and put them up for adoption. All they need is a little love. Even if they aren’t adopted, they can be left at the animal rescue centres that provide food, love and shelter to these animals. If only u think once, these animals will get a second chance at life. its worth it, right?
